1. Your cleaning log sheet. Click here to download a cleaning log sheet.
2. A cleaning tape or kit for your tape drive.
3. The cleaning instructions for your cleaning tape or kit.

procedure

• Clean your tape drive using the instructions on your cleaning media.
• Write the current date and time into your cleaning log sheet.
• Write your name or initials in the 'Cleaned by' column of your cleaning log sheet.
